New Friends Arrived From Argentina... April 17

It truly was a pleasure to host the Rotary "Group Study Exchange" from Argentina!  We have so much fun making new friends and spending time with them during their tour of Oklahoma.  They arrived in Cushing on Sunday afternoon (April 17, 2011) and we hosted a cookout at our house.  I was busy preparing, so I didn't take any pictures of the early evening.  But, I did manage to find time to relax and sit around and chat later in the evening.  Here are a few pics from my iphone just before dark.

Cecilia Alonso is staying with us, she is an English Teacher.  Such a delight to have as a guest in our home... her English is excellent!!

They spend each day doing professional tours but we always manage to have some fun time in the evenings!  After touring the Cushing area on Monday, I caught up with them for an evening at Reid's house for a shrimp boil... again, I didn't take pics until later in the eve.

Gustavo and Cecilia sign the Guest Book and then we head on our way.
We broke up into small groups and each team member went to see things of their particular interest.  Willetta and I took Melisa and Cecilia to the Cushing High School since they were both teachers.  They had the chance to visit the Jr and the Sr English Teachers along with the Spanish Teacher.

We continued on and they had the opportunity to visit with the

Jana and one of her students (Linder) met us at Rodolfo's that eve to visit more.
