This was our last full day to spend time in the Eastern area of South Africa. We headed out early that day to see Sudwala Cave. The brochure claims this cave to be the oldest in the world. Loved the windy steep road getting to and from the cave parking lot...
and, the parking lot was tiered pretty cool, so you parked on level ground rather than on a steep hill...
You had to be in decent shape just to climb the steps to get to the cave from the parking lot...
The cave is very large and had some beautiful formations.
We saw this pair of lizards as we were leaving Sudwala Cave...after a while they scurried into the knot hole.
