Headed Back to the Airport

It is just beginning to rain as we are leaving Jackalberry Ridge headed back to the airport.  Dennis took a pic of this Bushbuck in our yard first thing this morning when he got up.

...and right as we both got in the car a warthog came by the splash pool all by himself and he just started jumping and turned a complete circle... I guess that was his goodbye to us!  We both just laughed.

As we drove back to Johannesburg for a flight to George.  It is foggy & rainy, clouds are down low into the mountains as we drive.  But the sun came out and it began to warm up before we arrived at the airport.

The coastal area we are going has been much cooler than in the East where we were, but a girl on the plane said it was supposed to be warming up this week.  I guess good timing for our arrival!  Some of us can hang on to our brand new rain jacket we brought, and some of us, who I won't mention his name, managed to leave his jacket at the first B&B, that we will not be traveling back to.  So, we'll see just how cool it is...  I have a feeling we'll be buying another jacket!
